The candidates shortlisted for multi-tasking staff posts are salaried with Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission with basic pay of Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1,800.
SSC Class IV MTS 2024 Notification
Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC) uploaded the SSC MTS Recruitment 2024 Notification pdf on 27th June 2024 to recruit candidates for 8328 vacancies for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN). The SSC MTS examination consists of a Computer Based Examination (Objective test). Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar Exam) every year and the selection process is as follows:
- Paper 1 (online) for both MTS and Havaldar post
- PET/ PST (only for the post of Havaldar)

Class IV MTS Educational Qualification
A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board, University or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS 2024 Exam.
Class IV MTS 2024 Application Fee
The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2024 is Rs. 100/-. The payment of the application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee for the SSC MTS 2024 exam.
