What is Ration Card?
Ration is is an official document issued to the citizens by their respective State Governments. Ration Card enables it's users to buy food grains from govt approved food stores at subsidized rates under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
What is E-Ration Card?
E-Ration Card means Electronic ration card. Govt of some states have started to issue E Ration cards to its citizens through EPDS {Electronic Public Distribution System}. E-Ration Card is a PDF format of ration Card available on EPDS portal. Citizens can now download their Raton Card online through the EPDS portal.

Eligibility for obtaining Ration Card
To apply for Ration Card one must posses below mentioned eligibility criteria.
He or She must be a citizen of India
He or She must Live and Cook separately
Should not hold ration card of any other state
Should not hold ration card in his or her own State
Documents required for applying Ration card.
A complete signed application form in prescribed format.
Identity proof of the applicant which can be his or her
Election card
Driving license
Passport or
Any other official ID issued by the government.
Current address proof of the applicant, which can his or her
Electricity bill
Latest LPG receipt
Bank Passbook
Telephone Bill.
How to Download E-Ration Card online?
Firstly you to visit the official Website of DEPARTMENT OF FOOD, CIVIL SUPPLIES AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS JKFCSCA CLICK HERE
Now click on Online Services then click on Online Ration Card Management System [ePDS]
Then click on the Cross Icon on the top
Now you have been redirected to a new page. Here on this page click on MIS & REPORTS then on Reports
Now on this page click on Ration Card Drilldown Report
And now on this page choose your respective DFSO OR DISTRICT NAME
And then on the next page select your concerned AFSO or TSO Name from the given list
Now select your FSP owner name from list.
That is all now you can see the fill list of the Ration Card holders here.
Now gently find your name in the list and click on the VIEW button.
Here you will see your ration card having all important details like Ration Card number, Name, Photo, Address, Details of family members, Age, Ration Card Catagory etc
Now click on PRINT button and save its PDF file in your phone.
